We travelled from Australia to show our mother the island where her mother came from before emigrating and were delighted to stay at Kitty's Loft. We were also delighted when Great Appleford Farmhouse turned out to be the house our grandmother was born in, in 1890! A tranquil place of beauty, history and reflection.
